GALVANIZER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in galvanizing or related metal coating operations.
• Must be a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of metal preparation, fluxing, and coating processes.
• Strong attention to detail, quality control skills, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Apply zinc coatings, often through hot-dip galvanizing, to metal structures and parts.
  Clean, flux, and dip metal into molten zinc, achieving a uniform coating and characteristic “spangle” pattern.
• Control plating processes and maintain chemical solutions used in galvanizing operations.
• Inspect coated metal for quality and consistency, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations during all galvanizing operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot galvanizing equipment as needed.
