Job Vacancy: Furniture Spray Painter

Job Location: Greece
Fieldtech is seeking an experienced Furniture Spray Painter to prepare, paint, and finish furniture products according to quality and appearance standards. The ideal candidate must have experience in the furniture manufacturing industry and be skilled in surface preparation, paint mixing, spray gun operation, and applying various furniture finishes.
Furniture Spray Painter
Qualifications:
- Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience.
- Education: At least a High School Graduate.
- Industry Experience: Must have experience in the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Practical experience in furniture surface preparation, spray painting, and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of paints, primers, sealers, lacquers, stains, varnishes, and other furniture finishing materials.
- Ability to operate spray guns, compressors, and related painting equipment.
- Good understanding of color matching, coating application, drying processes, and quality inspection.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and workplace safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect furniture surfaces and perform necessary repairs, filling, sanding, and surface preparation before painting.
- Prepare and mix paints, primers, sealers, lacquers, stains, varnishes, and other finishing materials according to product specifications.
- Operate spray guns, air compressors, and other painting and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Apply different furniture finishes, including matte, gloss, lacquered, stained, varnished, and color-matched finishes.
- Adjust spray gun settings, air pressure, and application techniques to achieve consistent coverage and a smooth finish.
- Apply appropriate coating layers while following recommended application and drying procedures.
- Monitor drying and curing processes and perform additional sanding or coating when necessary.
- Inspect finished furniture for color consistency, smoothness, coverage, surface defects, and overall finish quality.
- Perform final touch-ups, corrections, and refinishing to meet required appearance and quality standards.
- Maintain painting tools, spray guns, compressors, and equipment in good working condition.
- Keep the painting area clean and organized and follow proper handling procedures for paints, solvents, and finishing materials.
- Comply with workplace safety requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
