Furniture Designer

 Qualifications:

• Experience in furniture design and drafting.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings, shop drawings, and furniture specifications.
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar furniture design applications.
• Ability to prepare detailed production drawings and material specifications.
• Strong understanding of furniture construction, woodworking methods, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of furniture hardware, materials, finishes, and production techniques.
• Excellent creativity, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

• Design furniture products, including office furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, tables, chairs, beds, shelving, and custom-built furniture.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and production specifications for manufacturing.
• Develop 2D and 3D furniture designs using CAD and design software.
• Produce accurate dimensions, material lists, cutting lists, and assembly details.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, production teams, and project managers to develop furniture concepts and customized solutions.
• Select suitable materials, finishes, fittings, and hardware based on design requirements and manufacturing feasibility.
• Revise and modify designs according to client feedback, production requirements, and engineering standards.
• Ensure designs comply with quality standards, functionality, ergonomics, and production capabilities.
• Coordinate with the manufacturing department during prototype development and production.
• Prepare presentation drawings, renderings, and design documentation for client approval.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Stay updated on furniture design trends, materials, and manufacturing technologies.
• Assist in resolving production or installation issues related to design.
• Perform other design and drafting duties assigned by management.
