Finishing Mason (Granite & Marble Installation)

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in granite and marble installation or related finishing masonry work.
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing natural stone materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and installation plans.
  • Knowledge of stone installation techniques, adhesives, grouting, and finishing methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual work in construction environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install granite, marble, and other natural stone materials for floors, walls, countertops, staircases, and other surfaces.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and fit stone materials according to project drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare surfaces for installation, including leveling, cleaning, and applying adhesives or mortar.
  • Perform polishing, grouting, sealing, and finishing work to achieve a high-quality appearance.
  • Inspect completed installations to ensure accuracy, durability, and compliance with quality standards.
    Operate hand tools, power tools, and stone-cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Repair or replace damaged stone materials when required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while following workplace safety procedures.
