Job Location: Japan
Innovative Organization for Human Resource Cultivation and Encouragement is seeking qualified and hardworking Excavating Workers under the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) to work in Japan. The successful candidates will assist with excavation, earthmoving, site preparation, material handling, and other construction-related activities while following work instructions, safety procedures, and Japanese workplace standards.
EXCAVATING WORKS (TITP)
Qualifications:
- Male, 20–35 years old.
- At least High School Graduate.
- Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience.
- Physically and emotionally healthy and capable of performing demanding construction work.
- Willing to perform physically demanding tasks involving lifting, carrying, bending, standing, digging, and working outdoors.
- Basic knowledge of construction work, excavation, earthmoving, or site preparation is an advantage.
- Able to follow instructions, measurements, safety procedures, and workplace rules.
- Responsible, hardworking, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
- Able to work effectively as part of a construction team.
- Willing to learn Japanese construction methods and workplace practices.
- Willing to undergo four (4) months of Japanese language training, free of charge.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with excavation and earthmoving activities at construction sites.
- Prepare work areas for excavation and other construction activities.
- Assist in digging, trenching, backfilling, leveling, and compacting soil as instructed.
- Handle and move soil, gravel, sand, stones, and other construction materials.
- Assist skilled workers and machine operators during excavation operations.
- Use basic hand tools and construction equipment safely and properly.
- Assist in measuring, marking, and preparing areas according to site plans and instructions.
- Help prepare foundations, trenches, drainage areas, and other excavated sections.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials around the worksite.
- Support the operation and maintenance of excavation-related tools and equipment under proper supervision.
- Keep excavation areas, tools, and workspaces clean and organized.
- Follow instructions regarding excavation depth, location, measurements, and site requirements.
- Check work areas for potential hazards and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Follow proper procedures when working near heavy machinery, trenches, underground utilities, and other construction hazards.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Observe Japanese construction site safety rules and workplace procedures.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors, machine operators, and other construction workers.
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the worksite.
- Perform other excavation and construction-related duties as assigned.
