Pakistani Islamia Pvt Secondary Schools L.L.C. is seeking an experienced English Language Teacher to help students develop strong English communication and literacy skills. The successful candidate will teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, composition, and literary analysis while creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s / College Degree in Education, Teaching, Training, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, and literature.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Patient, supportive, and culturally sensitive approach to teaching.
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.
- Good lesson planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Professional, responsible, and committed to student development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans covering reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis.
- Teach non-native English speakers how to read, write, and communicate confidently in English.
- Provide instruction in foundational literacy and vocabulary development.
- Teach students proper writing composition, sentence structure, grammar, and language usage.
- Guide students in reading comprehension and critical analysis of literary texts.
- Adapt teaching methods and learning materials to accommodate different student abilities and learning needs.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic and classroom records.
- Encourage students to participate actively in discussions, writing activities, and classroom exercises.
- Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain effective classroom management and student discipline.
- Communicate with students, parents, colleagues, and school administrators regarding academic progress and concerns.
- Incorporate appropriate teaching resources and activities to improve English language proficiency.
- Promote confidence, critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills among students.
- Follow school policies, curriculum requirements, and professional teaching standards.
