ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Must have a Vocational Diploma or College Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on overseas experience in Residential electrical work, Commercial electrical work, Industrial electrical work Or a related electrical field
• Familiarity with Austrian and European electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting Electrical schematics, Electrical blueprints, Wiring diagrams, Technical drawings
• Good understanding of electrical installation and maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and safe working procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of performing electrical installation and maintenance work.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform electrical wiring, connections, installations, and basic electrical repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Install electrical cables, conduits, switches, outlets, fixtures, panels, and related components.
• Perform electrical testing and inspections using appropriate testing instruments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and system problems.
• Identify defective electrical components and carry out repairs or replacements as required.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of residential, commercial, or industrial electrical systems.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with approved specifications and safety requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition.
• Follow proper lockout/tagout and electrical isolation procedures where applicable.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing electrical work.
• Follow Austrian and European electrical safety requirements and workplace procedures.
• Report electrical hazards, equipment defects, and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate work records and report completed electrical activities when required.
• Coordinate with other electricians, technicians, engineers, construction workers, and supervisors.
• Perform other electrical duties assigned by management.
