ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (Ceramics)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• 3–7 years of experience in the ceramic tiles manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Proven hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems in industrial machinery.
• Experience working with body preparation machines, hydraulic presses, driers, glaze lines, digital printing machines, storage machines, kilns, sorting lines, power distribution systems, and air compressors.
• Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and PLC input/output (I/O) systems.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, electrical repairs, motor servicing, machine modifications, and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of industrial control panels, electrical accessories, motors, sensors, and electrical distribution systems.
• Good English communication skills.
• Must possess a valid passport.
• Physically fit and able to work in a ceramic manufacturing and industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components of machinery used in ceramic tile manufacturing.
  Inspect and perform electrical maintenance on body preparation machines, hydraulic presses, driers, glaze lines, digital printing machines, storage machines, kilns, sorting lines, power distribution systems, and air compressors.
• Conduct regular inspection and dedusting of electrical accessories, control panels, wiring, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to approved maintenance schedules, checklists, and operating procedures.
• Service, repair, and replace electrical spare parts, motors, control components, and other equipment based on machine condition and maintenance requirements.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and input/output (I/O) signals to identify and resolve electrical and control-system faults.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical breakdowns and technical problems to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor machine conditions and promptly report abnormalities or potential electrical failures to the department foreman or supervisor.
• Maintain daily records of inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, breakdowns, and machine abnormalities.
• Perform electrical modifications and machine improvements based on production requirements.
• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting power distribution systems and industrial electrical equipment.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, company policies, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure electrical tools and equipment are properly maintained.
