Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician (HVAC)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in VRF, Chiller Systems, AHU, and FCU maintenance and repair.
- Must possess a Diploma or Technical Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.
- Maximum age of 35 years old.
- Must have a valid driving license.
- Must possess a valid passport with at least 3 to 5 years of remaining validity before expiration.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, HVAC electrical systems, controls, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and service manuals.
- Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools, testing instruments, and servicing equipment.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and under varying environmental conditions.
- Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including VRF systems, Chillers, AHUs, and FCUs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system faults using appropriate testing equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and minimize equipment downtime.
- Install and replace HVAC components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, thermostats, and control systems.
- Conduct refrigerant charging, leak detection, evacuation, and recovery in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Test and commission newly installed HVAC equipment to verify proper operation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and inspection documentation.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
- Drive company vehicles to project sites or customer locations when required.
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors or management.
