Talentscoutry TM GMBH is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Technician with extensive experience in industrial electrical work, high-voltage technology, and large generator construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical assembly, winding, insulation, connection, testing, and installation activities involving large-scale generator systems.
The position requires strong technical knowledge, precision, and practical experience in generator winding, high-voltage insulation, copper connections, electrical testing, wiring, and technical drawing interpretation.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Must have completed state-recognized vocational training of at least 4 years in the electrical sector.
- Must possess an official diploma confirming completion of the required vocational training.
- Minimum of 4 years of practical and verifiable experience in one or more of the following:
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Electrical Installation
- High-Voltage Technology
- Generator Construction
- Comparable technical fields
- Proven experience in bar or coil winding, bandaging, and high-voltage insulation for large generators.
- Skilled in brazing and soldering highly conductive copper winding connections.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical BOMs.
- Experience installing and wiring terminal boxes, PT100 sensors, and monitoring components.
- Knowledge of electrical testing procedures, particularly insulation resistance and electrical continuity testing.
- Ability to use mechanical measuring equipment and precision tools.
- Experience handling specialized tools and equipment used in generator construction.
- Ability to safely operate overhead cranes for heavy generator components.
- Indoor Crane License should be obtained in Austria as required.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, high-voltage safety, and safe work practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in electrical assembly and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bar and coil winding, bandaging, and high-voltage insulation work for large generators.
- Prepare, install, secure, and insulate electrical winding components according to manufacturing specifications.
- Perform brazing and soldering of highly conductive copper winding connections.
- Ensure electrical connections are properly secured, insulated, and meet required quality standards.
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Install and wire terminal boxes, PT100 temperature sensors, monitoring components, and related electrical equipment.
- Conduct electrical inspections and testing, including insulation resistance and electrical continuity tests.
- Use mechanical measuring equipment and precision tools to verify dimensions and installation accuracy.
- Inspect electrical components and assemblies for defects, incorrect connections, insulation issues, or other abnormalities.
- Safely operate specialized tools and equipment used in generator construction and electrical assembly.
- Safely handle and operate overhead cranes when required for the movement and positioning of generator components.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineering technicians and other technical personnel during generator assembly.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, high-voltage safety requirements, and workplace regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and orderly condition.
- Record test results, inspection findings, and other technical information as required.
- Perform other electrical engineering and generator assembly duties assigned by management.
