Electrical Assembler (Rig Equipment)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only, as specified by the employer.
• 45 years old and below.
• Previous overseas work experience (ex-abroad) is required.
• Relevant experience in electrical assembly, industrial equipment assembly, electrical wiring, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical components, wiring systems, connectors, terminals, and control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical assembly instructions.
• Familiarity with wire stripping, crimping, cable termination, and electrical component installation.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments safely.
• Knowledge of basic electrical testing and quality inspection procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate assembly work.
• Ability to identify wiring errors, loose connections, and defective components.
• Understanding of electrical safety practices and proper handling of electrical equipment.
• Good manual dexterity, coordination, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a technical team.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on assembly duties.
• Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining quality standards.
• Willingness to comply with company policies, project requirements, and Saudi Arabian workplace safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble electrical components, parts, and subassemblies used in drilling rigs and related industrial equipment.
• Install and secure electrical components, connectors, terminals, switches, relays, and other assigned parts.
• Perform electrical wiring and cable routing according to wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and assembly specifications.
• Prepare wires, cables, terminals, and connectors for installation and assembly.
• Cut, strip, crimp, label, and terminate electrical wires using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, wiring harnesses, and other electrical assemblies as required.
• Install electrical components in equipment enclosures and designated mounting locations.
• Ensure proper alignment, positioning, fastening, and connection of electrical components.
• Inspect assembled units to verify correct wiring, component placement, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Conduct continuity checks and other basic electrical tests using appropriate testing instruments.
• Identify wiring errors, loose connections, damaged components, and assembly defects.
• Correct assembly issues and replace defective parts according to approved procedures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, crimping tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow established assembly procedures, production schedules, and quality control requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of completed assemblies, inspection results, and identified defects when required.
• Coordinate with electrical technicians, engineers, supervisors, and other assembly personnel.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in clean and serviceable condition.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Handle electrical components and materials carefully to prevent damage.
• Report defective materials, equipment problems, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other electrical assembly and workshop duties assigned by management.
