Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital is seeking qualified and compassionate EEG Technicians to join its healthcare team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing neurological conditions while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and the accurate operation of diagnostic equipment.
EEG TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant working experience as an EEG Technician.
- Must hold a valid Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Examination).
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- Knowledge of EEG procedures, neurological diagnostic equipment, and patient care practices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately perform and document diagnostic procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) examinations to measure brain activity and assist in the diagnosis of neurological conditions such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, brain tumors, and other brain-related abnormalities.
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients, and properly applying electrodes to the scalp.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot EEG equipment to obtain accurate and high-quality diagnostic recordings.
- Maintain accurate patient records, test results, and procedure documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Clean, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance of EEG equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and healthcare quality standards at all times.
- Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support effective patient diagnosis and care.
