GPPC INC. is seeking a qualified Ductman to fabricate, install, assemble, and repair HVAC ductwork systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, technical drawings, and industry standards for ventilation and air distribution systems.

DUCTMAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Ductman, HVAC Duct Installer, or related position.
  • Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC duct systems, sheet metal fabrication, and ventilation installations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, layout plans, and specifications.
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal materials.
  • Knowledge of installation techniques for commercial and industrial ductwork systems.
  • Familiarity with construction tools, fabrication equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in construction and installation environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal ducts according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Fabricate and assemble HVAC duct components and fittings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Install, assemble, and secure ductwork systems for HVAC and ventilation applications.
  • Repair, modify, and replace damaged ductwork when required.
  • Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and insulation of duct systems.
  • Perform site measurements and verify installation requirements.
  • Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed installations to ensure compliance with project standards and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades during installation activities.
  • Follow workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning duct systems when required.
