Our employer in New Zealand is in need of the following position:

DRAINLAYER (outdoor plumber)

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years verifiable experience as a Drainlayer in construction or civil projects.
• Preferably 3–5 years of overseas experience in the same role.
• Good understanding of drainage systems and pipe installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Good English comprehension; willing to take IELTS if required by the client.

Responsibilities:

• Install and lay drainage pipes for sewer, stormwater, and wastewater systems.
• Align and connect pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to technical specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and construction documents.
• Excavate trenches and prepare sites for pipe installation.
• Repair and maintain existing drainage systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with construction teams to complete projects on schedule.
