Dentica Dental Center is seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Technician to join its dental laboratory and clinical support team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will fabricate, repair, modify, and finish dental prosthetics and appliances based on dentists’ prescriptions and specifications. The role requires technical precision, attention to detail, and the ability to operate dental laboratory equipment safely and accurately.

DENTAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Dental Technician.
• Graduate of a recognized Dental Technology / Dental Laboratory Technology program.
• Must be a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) holder.
• Must have a valid professional license/registration as a Dental Technician, if required by the country of employment.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Able to accurately interpret dental prescriptions, impressions, measurements, and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of dental laboratory procedures, prosthetic fabrication, repair, modification, and finishing.
• Skilled in operating dental laboratory tools, equipment, machinery, and instruments.
• Strong manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of dental appliance fit, function, appearance, and quality requirements.
• Ability to identify defects and perform appropriate adjustments or corrections.
• Good communication and coordination skills when working with dentists and dental staff.
• Knowledge of laboratory hygiene, infection control, and workplace safety procedures.
• Organized, reliable, responsible, and committed to producing high-quality dental laboratory work.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate dental prosthetics, appliances, and laboratory products according to dentists’ prescriptions and specifications.
• Read and interpret dental prescriptions, laboratory instructions, impressions, measurements, and technical specifications.
• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment required for dental laboratory procedures.
• Construct, repair, modify, and adjust dental prosthetics and appliances as required.
• Work with dental models, impressions, molds, and other laboratory materials.
• Follow prescribed measurements, designs, and technical requirements when fabricating dental products.
• Operate dental laboratory tools, equipment, machinery, and instruments safely and accurately.
• Perform trimming, shaping, polishing, finishing, and other laboratory procedures as required.
• Ensure dental appliances and prosthetics meet required specifications for fit, function, appearance, and quality.
• Inspect completed dental products for defects, imperfections, dimensional accuracy, and proper finishing.
• Make necessary adjustments or modifications to improve the fit and function of dental products.
• Coordinate with dentists and other dental clinic personnel regarding prescriptions, specifications, adjustments, and laboratory requirements.
• Clarify technical or fabrication concerns with dentists before proceeding with laboratory work.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, work orders, prescriptions, and production details.
• Properly label, handle, store, and track dental models, impressions, appliances, and completed products.
• Maintain dental laboratory tools and equipment in clean, safe, and proper working condition.
• Follow infection-control, sanitation, laboratory safety, and workplace procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic dental laboratory work area.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment when handling laboratory materials and equipment.
• Monitor the quality and consistency of finished dental products.
• Complete assigned laboratory work accurately and within required timeframes.
• Perform other dental laboratory and technical duties assigned by management or supervising dentists.
