CUT & SEW
Qualifications:
- Female applicants only.
- Age: 25 to 40 years old.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in tailoring, dressmaking, or garment production.
- Skilled in cutting, sewing, fitting, and altering garments.
- Experience using industrial sewing machines and tailoring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Measure clients accurately and record body measurements for custom-made garments.
- Draft or modify patterns based on customer specifications and design requirements.
- Cut fabrics precisely according to patterns while minimizing material waste.
- Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines to assemble garments.
- Perform alterations, repairs, hemming, resizing, zipper replacement, and garment adjustments.
- Sew various types of clothing, including dresses, abayas, uniforms, skirts, blouses, and other women’s garments.
- Fit garments on clients and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort.
- Inspect finished garments to ensure high-quality stitching, finishing, and overall appearance.
- Maintain sewing machines, cutting tools, and workstations in good working condition.
- Organize fabrics, threads, accessories, and other tailoring materials.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other tailoring and sewing duties assigned by management.
