AK 59 Restaurant and Café Ltd is seeking a skilled Cook to prepare authentic Arabic cuisine for its café operations in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety, consistency, and efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Experience preparing traditional Arabic cuisine is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of traditional Arabic dishes according to standard recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all dishes are presented attractively, properly garnished, and meet the café’s standards for authenticity, taste, and quality.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning food items before cooking.
• Maintain consistency in food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is safely prepared.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor food inventory and report shortages or ingredient requirements to management.
• Work closely with café management and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations during busy meal periods.
• Assist in menu preparation and support other kitchen duties as required.
