COMMIS 1 (HEAD CHEF)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a professional kitchen
• 1–5 years experience in high-volume or fine dining kitchens preferred
• No minimum educational attainment required
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating standards
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to hygiene and safety

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and plate food items according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
• Set up and maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations (mise-en-place)
• Comply with health regulations and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Assist in planning and managing daily kitchen operations in high-volume or fine dining settings
• Ensure efficient workflow and maintain high-quality standards in food production
