CNC Programmer

 Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a CNC Programmer with CNC machine operation experience.
• Strong knowledge of CAM software, PolyBoard (PolyVol), CAD/CAM programming, and CNC machine operations.
• Experience programming CNC machines used in woodworking and metal furniture manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD designs, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of CNC machine setup, tooling, machining parameters, and production optimization.
• Skilled in troubleshooting CNC programs and machine operations.
• Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a production team.

Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for wood and metal furniture manufacturing.
• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
• Interpret technical drawings, CAD designs, and production specifications to develop machining programs.
• Utilize CAM software and CNC programming systems, including CAM, PolyBoard (PolyVol), and CAD/CAM programming, to generate machine code.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling parameters, feeds, and machining speeds for various materials.
• Perform machine setup, calibration, and test runs before production.
• Monitor machining operations and make programming adjustments to improve quality and productivity.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machine-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and coordinate repairs to maintain CNC machine performance.
• Maintain accurate production records, CNC program files, and technical documentation.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Perform other CNC programming and machine operation duties assigned by management.
