AIRO is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator 360 CAD/CAM to join its manufacturing team in Romania. The successful candidate will operate and set up CNC machinery, interpret technical drawings and work instructions, adjust machine programs and operating parameters, and monitor production processes to ensure accurate and defect-free machining. The role also involves monitoring and optimizing digital workflows and participating in project stages from concept and technical design through execution.

CNC OPERATOR 360 CAD/CAM

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be a Professional License holder (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam).
  • Experience operating CNC milling machines, lathes, or machining centers.
  • Ability to set up CNC machines, load materials, and install appropriate tools and fixtures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Knowledge of CNC machine programming and operating parameters.
  • Ability to monitor and adjust CNC programs and machine settings to maintain production quality.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM processes and digital manufacturing workflows.
  • Ability to monitor and optimize digital workflows related to CNC machining.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with measurements and machining tolerances.
  • Good technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify production defects and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Ability to participate in project stages from concept and technical design through execution.
  • Willingness to learn new CNC technologies, software, and manufacturing processes.
  • Good communication, teamwork, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Strong commitment to quality, productivity, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, lathes, and machining centers.
  • Set up CNC machines according to production specifications and work requirements.
  • Load and secure raw materials correctly before machining operations.
  • Install and adjust appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, tool holders, and workholding equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Review dimensions, tolerances, material requirements, and machining details before starting production.
  • Input, adjust, and modify CNC machine programs and operating parameters as required.
  • Monitor CNC machine operations to ensure proper production and prevent defects.
  • Check finished components for dimensional accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Identify machining errors, tool wear, machine abnormalities, and other production issues.
  • Make appropriate adjustments to machine settings, tool offsets, cutting speeds, and feed rates when required.
  • Replace worn or damaged tools and maintain proper cutting tool condition.
  • Perform routine machine checks and assist with basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized CNC work area.
  • Monitor and optimize the digital workflow used in CNC and CAD/CAM operations.
  • Support efficient coordination between digital designs, machining programs, and production processes.
  • Participate in all relevant project stages, including concept development, technical design, and execution.
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, CNC programmers, and other production personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, inspections, and technical information.
  • Follow established quality control, workplace safety, and machine operating procedures.
