CIVIL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• 35 years old and below.
• Physically fit and capable of working abroad.
• Must have relevant civil engineering or construction experience.
• Ex-trainees and SSW candidates are welcome.
• Must have passed N4 or higher Japanese language proficiency, or be willing to meet the required Japanese language qualification.
• Willing to undergo Japanese language training if required.
• Knowledge of civil construction, site operations, engineering drawings, and construction procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, adaptable, and willing to learn new construction methods and skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and execution of civil engineering and construction projects.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and project requirements.
• Assist in surveying, measurements, site inspections, and preparation of technical records.
• Coordinate with contractors, workers, engineers, supervisors, and other project personnel.
• Monitor the quality and progress of construction work.
• Identify construction issues and assist in developing appropriate solutions.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and construction activities meet required specifications.
• Assist in maintaining project schedules and monitoring work progress.
• Support site safety activities and ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures.
• Prepare basic reports, documentation, measurements, and project records.
• Assist with quality control and inspection activities.
• Maintain proper organization and documentation of engineering information.
• Adapt to Japanese construction methods, workplace practices, and technical requirements.
• Perform other civil engineering duties assigned by management.
