CHILDCARE ATTENDANT

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of related childcare experience.
• Able to provide professional, attentive, and responsible care to children as assigned.
• Knowledgeable in maintaining children’s safety, comfort, health, and overall well-being.
• Able to assist with children’s daily activities, meals, hygiene, and general care.
• Able to supervise children effectively during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Capable of performing various children-related duties and daily childcare tasks.
• Patient, caring, trustworthy, responsible, and attentive when dealing with children.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow instructions and maintain established childcare routines.
• Physically capable of performing daily childcare activities and providing appropriate assistance to children.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a safe and positive environment for children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, responsible, and compassionate care to children as assigned.
• Supervise children closely to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
• Assist children with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Prepare, serve, and assist children with meals, snacks, and drinks as required.
• Plan and conduct age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.
• Engage children in educational, recreational, creative, and developmental activities.
• Monitor children’s behavior and provide appropriate guidance and assistance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and child-friendly environment.
• Assist younger children with toileting and other personal care needs when required.
• Ensure children’s belongings, toys, clothing, and personal items are properly organized.
• Monitor children during playtime, rest periods, meals, and other daily activities.
• Provide comfort and reassurance to children when they are upset, tired, or distressed.
• Observe children’s general condition and promptly report any unusual behavior, illness, injury, or concern.
• Follow established routines, instructions, and safety procedures related to childcare.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in areas used by the children.
• Assist with preparing and organizing toys, learning materials, games, and other children’s activities.
• Ensure children are properly supervised during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Perform other childcare and child-related duties as assigned by the employer.
