Chemical Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with chilled water systems.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes, chemical dosing, and testing procedures.
• Experience in industrial or facility water treatment systems is an advantage.
• Technical or vocational training in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical testing and analysis of chilled water systems to maintain proper water quality.
• Monitor and control chemical dosing and treatment processes.
• Conduct routine inspections of water treatment equipment and systems.
• Maintain proper chemical balance to prevent corrosion, scaling, and biological growth.
• Record test results, chemical usage, and system performance data.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to water treatment systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards when handling chemicals.
