Al Yamama Company is looking for experienced and certified MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) Operators to support building maintenance and industrial operations in Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for skilled professionals with experience operating manlifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts while maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety and operational efficiency.

CERTIFIED MEWP OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience operating Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) or similar heavy equipment.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Others or a related technical field.
• Must possess a valid certification for operating the respective equipment (MEWP, Manlift, Scissor Lift, and/or Forklift).
• Experience in building maintenance operations is required.
• Skilled in operating manlifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to read and understand simple safety instructions in English.
• Must be able to understand oral instructions in Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of equipment safety procedures, risk awareness, and preventive inspections.
• Physically fit and capable of working at elevated heights and in demanding work environments.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), including manlifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition before use.
• Carry out building maintenance support activities by providing safe elevated access for maintenance, repair, and installation work.
• Inspect work areas for potential hazards and ensure safe positioning of equipment before operation.
• Follow manufacturer operating procedures and company safety policies during equipment operation.
• Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and work crews to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Report equipment defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate equipment inspection records, operating logs, and maintenance reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of equipment after use.
• Assist with basic equipment care and routine preventive maintenance checks.
• Perform other equipment operation and maintenance support duties assigned by management.
