The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer payments accurately and efficiently while providing friendly and professional service. The role involves operating the POS system, following cash-handling procedures, processing take-away and delivery transactions, and assisting with daily cash reconciliation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Experience as a Cashier, Customer Service Representative, or in a retail, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures is an advantage.
• Good numerical and basic calculation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling payments.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, courteous, and professional attitude.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible when handling company funds.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system according to company procedures.
• Accept and process cash, card, and other approved payment methods.
• Provide accurate receipts and verify transaction details.
• Assist customers with take-away and delivery order payments.
• Follow established company cash-handling and transaction procedures.
• Count and verify cash accurately during shifts.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain an organized and clean cashier counter and transaction area.
• Answer customer questions regarding orders, prices, payments, and available products.
• Handle customer concerns and payment-related issues professionally.
• Coordinate with restaurant, kitchen, and delivery staff to ensure accurate order processing.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of cash and transaction information.
• Follow company policies, customer service standards, and health and safety procedures.
• Perform other cashier and restaurant support duties as assigned.
