Micro Co., Ltd. is seeking compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Care Workers to provide quality daily care and support to patients in Japan. The successful candidates will assist patients with personal care, meals, appointments, medication monitoring, and medical documentation while providing companionship and helping maintain their comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being.

Care Worker

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Medical Science or a similar field.
• Previous experience in patient care, caregiving, nursing assistance, or healthcare support is required.
• Ability to assist patients with bathing, feeding, personal hygiene, mobility, and other daily activities.
• Knowledge of basic patient-care, hygiene, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate medical charts, care records, and other required documentation.
• Ability to monitor medication schedules and follow instructions from authorized healthcare professionals.
• Good observation skills and ability to recognize and report changes in a patient’s condition.
• Compassionate, patient, friendly, and supportive personality.
• Ability to serve as a pleasant and supportive companion to patients.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and respect privacy and dignity.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing caregiving duties and assisting patients with mobility and personal care.
• Japanese language ability at JLPT N4/N5 level, suitable for basic and daily-conversation communication.
• Willingness to continue learning and improving Japanese language skills while working in Japan.
• Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Willingness to follow Japanese workplace procedures, healthcare standards, and instructions from supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care and assistance to patients according to their individual needs and established care procedures.
• Assist patients with bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist patients during meals and ensure they receive appropriate food and fluids safely.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to patients.
• Maintain a pleasant, respectful, and supportive relationship with patients.
• Schedule necessary appointments, including visits to the patient’s doctor and other healthcare providers.
• Assist with coordinating appointment schedules with patients and their families.
• Accompany patients to medical appointments and other necessary activities when required.
• Maintain and update patient medical charts and care records accurately.
• Document daily care provided, patient observations, and relevant changes in the patient’s condition.
• Monitor medication schedules according to established instructions and report concerns or irregularities to the appropriate healthcare professional.
• Assist with medication-related records and documentation.
• Observe patients’ physical and emotional condition and promptly report significant changes to nurses, doctors, or supervisors.
• Communicate relevant patient information effectively with healthcare professionals and family members when authorized.
• Respect patients’ privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and personal preferences at all times.
• Encourage patients to participate in appropriate daily activities and maintain as much independence as possible.
• Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and organized patient-care environment.
• Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, infection-control, and workplace safety procedures.
• Properly use and maintain patient-care equipment and supplies.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and report accidents, injuries, or other safety concerns immediately.
• Follow instructions from nurses, doctors, supervisors, and other authorized healthcare personnel.
• Perform other caregiving and patient-support duties assigned by management.
