Al Sawaid Co. (MOTOR DRIP) is seeking skilled and experienced Car Seat Upholstery Technicians to join its automotive service team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for repairing, replacing, and customizing vehicle interiors while ensuring high-quality workmanship, precision, and customer satisfaction.
CAR SEAT UPHOLSTERY TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of working experience as a Car Seat Upholstery Technician or in a related field.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Skilled in automotive upholstery repair, installation, sewing, and interior restoration.
- Experienced in handling upholstery materials, industrial sewing machines, and hand tools.
- Knowledgeable in removing and installing vehicle interior components safely.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Detail-oriented with strong manual skills and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and replace car seats, roof linings (headliners), carpets, dashboards, door panels, and other vehicle interior components.
- Measure, cut, sew, and fit upholstery materials with precision using industrial sewing machines and hand tools.
- Safely remove and reinstall vehicle interior trims, seats, and hardware without damaging electrical components or vehicle structures.
- Repair, adjust, or replace damaged seat springs, frames, foam padding, and related components to restore comfort and durability.
- Perform upholstery restoration and finishing work according to quality standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain and operate industrial sewing machines, cutters, and upholstery tools properly.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety standards.
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper fit, appearance, and functionality.
