BEAUTICIAN / MANICURIST
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- Good English communication skills.
- Experience in manicure, nail care, beauty services, or a related position.
- Good knowledge of basic manicure procedures and nail-care practices.
- Ability to maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Pleasant personality and professional appearance.
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and understand their service requirements.
- Able to work efficiently and maintain service quality under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, patient, courteous, and customer-focused.
- Reliable, hardworking, adaptable, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional manicure and nail care services according to clients’ preferences and requirements.
- Clean, shape, trim, and maintain clients’ fingernails and surrounding skin.
- Prepare nails for polish application and ensure neat, smooth, and professional results.
- Apply nail polish and other appropriate nail-care products accurately and carefully.
- Assist clients in selecting suitable nail colors, styles, and basic beauty treatments.
- Maintain clean and hygienic tools, equipment, workstations, and treatment areas.
- Follow proper sanitation and hygiene procedures before, during, and after each service.
- Ensure beauty tools and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, and stored.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with services.
- Maintain a pleasant, professional appearance and a positive attitude when dealing with clients.
- Handle beauty products and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining service quality and attention to detail.
- Follow workplace policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
- Perform other beautician, manicure, and beauty-related duties assigned by management.
