Mado Turkey is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Barista to join its café and food service team in Qatar. The successful candidate will provide friendly customer service, accurately take orders, prepare a variety of coffee and specialty beverages, and maintain café equipment and workstations according to company standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso extraction, milk steaming, and beverage presentation.
• Experience operating espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and related café equipment.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and courteous personality.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
• Responsible, hardworking, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and process requests efficiently.
• Provide recommendations on coffee, beverages, pastries, and other menu items.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, smoothies, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform proper espresso extraction and milk steaming techniques.
• Ensure beverages are prepared consistently in terms of taste, quality, temperature, and presentation.
• Prepare beverages according to customer preferences and company standards.
• Maintain adequate supplies of coffee, milk, syrups, cups, ingredients, and other café materials.
• Monitor the quality and freshness of beverage ingredients.
• Clean and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, utensils, and other café equipment.
• Keep the counter, workstation, and café area clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle customer concerns and requests professionally.
• Assist with cash handling and order processing when required.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth customer service.
• Report equipment problems, supply shortages, or other operational concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other café and beverage service duties as assigned.
