Barista
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a café/restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-making techniques.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Honest, reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented.
- Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Relevant training or certification in barista skills is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and other hot and cold beverages according to company standards
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other bar equipment
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies.
- Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
- Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all beverages.
- Assist in preparing pastries, sandwiches, and other light food items when required
- Restock supplies and report shortages or equipment problems to the supervisor
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints professionally.
- Follow company policies and health and safety regulations
