Barista

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Previous experience as a Barista or in a café/restaurant environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-making techniques.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Honest, reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Relevant training or certification in barista skills is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and other hot and cold beverages according to company standards
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other bar equipment
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area.
• Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies.
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
• Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all beverages.
• Assist in preparing pastries, sandwiches, and other light food items when required
• Restock supplies and report shortages or equipment problems to the supervisor
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints professionally.
• Follow company policies and health and safety regulations
