Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Barista or in a café or restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso beverages, and beverage menu items.
• Experience operating espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality.
• Physically fit and able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and shifts as required.
• Willing to work in Kuwait under the employer’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the beverage menu and recommend products based on customer preferences.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, and presentation.
• Prepare ingredients and perform daily mise en place before service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the coffee bar, equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and report shortages to supervisors.
• Handle cash, process payments through the point-of-sale (POS) system, and issue receipts accurately.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including equipment cleaning and restocking.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient café operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Café Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.
