Bar Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants preferred.
  • Preferably 21–35 years old, subject to the employer’s requirements and applicable regulations.
  • At least a high school graduate; hospitality-related education or training is an advantage.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or bar.
  • Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of beverages, bar equipment, and beverage preparation.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
  • Well-groomed, hardworking, honest, reliable, and customer-service-oriented.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist bartenders with preparing and serving beverages according to established service standards.
  • Prepare ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies needed for beverage service.
  • Clean and organize bar counters, workstations, beverage equipment, and service areas.
  • Wash and polish glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Replenish beverage stocks, ice, garnishes, napkins, and other bar supplies.
  • Assist with receiving, checking, and storing beverage deliveries and supplies.
  • Help maintain accurate stock levels and report shortages or damaged items to the supervisor.
  • Support bartenders in serving guests promptly and professionally during busy periods.
  • Respond courteously to guest requests and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff when necessary.
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Maintain proper storage and handling of beverages and bar ingredients.
  • Coordinate with bartenders, restaurant staff, and other resort departments to ensure smooth service.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the bar supervisor or resort management.
