AUTO MECHANIC
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic.
- Experience in checking, repairing, and maintaining buses, coasters, shuttle buses, vans, and similar vehicles is required.
- Knowledgeable in repairing or replacing vehicle parts such as engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension systems, and fuel systems.
- Must know how to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle problems and mechanical faults.
- Ability to read and understand repair manuals, technical documents, and maintenance procedures.
- Skilled in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automotive systems.
- Physically fit and capable of working in workshop or garage environments.
- Responsible, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Willing to work overtime or flexible schedules when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain buses, coasters, shuttle buses, vans, and other company vehicles.
- Use diagnostic equipment and testing tools to identify mechanical and electrical vehicle issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, brakes, transmissions, fuel systems, batteries, and suspension parts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, tire checks, and fluid inspections.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet safety and operational standards.
- Perform road testing after repairs to verify vehicle performance and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Record maintenance work, repairs, and parts replacements accurately.
- Follow workplace safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report major vehicle defects, required parts, or recurring mechanical issues to supervisors.
