ARCHITECTURAL DRAFSTMAN

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Architecture, Urban Studies, or similar fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proven experience in preparing architectural plans, elevations, sections, construction details, and 3D models.
• Strong knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
• Knowledge of architectural drafting standards, construction documentation, building codes, zoning requirements, and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, dimensions, and technical requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and drawing quality.
• Good coordination and communication skills when working with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and meet project deadlines.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willing to follow company procedures, project requirements, and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and construction details.
• Develop accurate 3D models and architectural representations using CAD and BIM software.
• Convert architectural concepts, sketches, specifications, and design requirements into detailed technical drawings.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, properly dimensioned, and suitable for construction and project documentation.
• Review architectural drawings and plans for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable local building codes, zoning requirements, safety regulations, and project standards.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
• Work closely with architects and structural engineers to clarify design specifications and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and site personnel to resolve drawing-related issues and provide necessary clarifications.
• Incorporate design changes, revisions, comments, and approved modifications into drawings.
• Maintain proper revision control and ensure the latest approved drawings are used.
• Prepare detailed drawings for construction, renovation, fit-out, and facility-related projects as assigned.
• Review site measurements and existing conditions and incorporate accurate information into drawings.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and approved changes.
• Organize and maintain architectural drawing files, models, references, and project documentation.
• Follow company drafting standards, CAD/BIM procedures, file-naming conventions, and document-control requirements.
• Support project teams by providing drawings, layouts, details, and technical documentation when required.
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or potential drafting issues and coordinate with the appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Assist in preparing presentations, drawing schedules, material details, and other architectural documentation when required.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while meeting project deadlines.
• Perform other drafting and architectural documentation duties assigned by management.
