Villa Shipping and Trading Company Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in accounting or finance.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in accounts payable/receivable or general accounting roles is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and process invoices accurately, ensuring completeness and avoiding duplication.
- Create and issue customer invoices using accounting systems or spreadsheets.
- Match invoices with approved purchase orders and receipts in compliance with company policies.
- Apply payable prepayments to supplier invoices and customer receipts against AR invoices accurately.
- Perform supplier and vendor reconciliations.
- Follow up on outstanding customer AR balances via calls and emails.
- Assist the AP or AR Manager with day-to-day accounting and reporting tasks.
