ACCOUNTANT
Qualifications:
- Female applicants are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording and verifying financial transactions accurately.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable while ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
- Assist in developing budgets, financial forecasts, and project profitability analyses.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain organized financial documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with management and other departments on financial planning and business operations.
