Materials Engineer
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of working experience is required.
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in joinery factories, including inspection of materials, workmanship, and finished joinery products.
- Strong knowledge of material testing, quality assurance, and quality control procedures.
- Experience in developing testing protocols and evaluating material performance and durability.
- Ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations, project specifications, and government standards.
- Experience in reviewing and verifying approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Previous GCC or Middle East work experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with production teams to identify material and manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct physical testing and evaluation of material durability and performance.
- Develop and implement testing procedures and quality control protocols.
- Inspect raw materials, workmanship, and finished products to ensure compliance with approved standards and specifications.
- Ensure manufacturing materials comply with industry regulations and government requirements.
- Design and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Prepare material specifications, testing reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, testing activities, and corrective actions.
- Verify alignment of approved drawings with project requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor production quality and recommend improvements to maintain consistency and reliability.
- Coordinate with managers, clients, and project teams regarding material quality concerns and compliance requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing quality and operational performance.
