Focus Search Services is seeking qualified Staff Nurses to provide quality nursing care and clinical support in a hospital or nursing home setting in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

STAFF NURSE

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of working experience is required.
• Must be a Professional License holder (Passed Board/Professional License Exam).
• Must be an SNB Exam Passer with valid SNB License.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) trained.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Singapore as a Staff Nurse in a hospital or nursing home is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment.
• Willing to work a 6-day work week with rotating day shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with approved standards of nursing practices.
• Provide nursing services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills.
• Ensure nursing care delivery and interventions are carried out according to care plans.
• Evaluate residents’ responses to care interventions and recommend revisions to care plans when necessary.
• Coordinate with allied health professionals and initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Conduct and supervise assessments for new admissions.
• Supervise staff to ensure safe medication practices.
• Prepare and administer medications in compliance with established safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized nursing home environment.
• Assist supervisors in conducting quality assurance and nursing care evaluation activities.
• Conduct internal audits and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-compliance issues.
• Perform ward rounds, monitor residents’ conditions, and escalate concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Supervise, mentor, and coach junior nursing staff.
• Observe and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and nursing home policies.
