Audit Supervisor

Qualifications:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification.
• Minimum of 4 years’ training experience with an international or large independent accounting firm.
• At least 2 years’ experience at a senior or supervisory level.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and capability to manage audits to Partner review level.
• Skilled in preparing consolidated financial statements, income tax returns, and statutory filings.
• Strong client management skills with the ability to gain trust and respect.
• Proficient in accounting software such as MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent.
• Previous overseas experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise audit engagements from start to finish
• Review financial statements and audit working papers for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure adherence to applicable standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (if applicable)
• Identify risks, internal control weaknesses, and areas for improvement
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to audit team members
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management
• Ensure deadlines and budgets are met for each engagement
• Assist in developing audit strategies and methodologies
