Fleet Electrician
General Machinery Hire Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems of heavy vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues across a range of fleet assets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Fleet Electrician or similar role
- Proven experience working on electrical systems of diesel trucks, prime movers, trailers, container equipment, and fuel tankers
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and safety procedures
- Safety-conscious, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems of diesel trucks, prime movers, trailers, container equipment, and fuel tankers
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles
- Identify electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs efficiently
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely servicing of fleet units
- Keep tools and work areas clean and organized
