Audit Manager

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a university degree in Accountancy or related field
• At least 4 years of audit experience with an international firm, Big 4, or large independent accountancy practice
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and audit standards
• Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns
• Experience at the Audit Senior or Supervisor level (candidates currently at Senior Associate level are encouraged to apply)
• Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
• Previous overseas work experience is an advantage but not required
• Comfortable working across diverse industries and client types
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and local team members
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Open to working and living abroad, with a positive and adaptable mindset

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute audit engagements across the firm’s client portfolio, from planning through to Partner review level
• Prepare and review Annual Consolidated Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, and company statutory filings in accordance with IFRS
• Manage assigned client accounts, build strong working relationships, and earn the trust and confidence of clients
• Supervise and train junior Papua New Guinean staff, guiding them in audit methodology and document preparation
• Work alongside other Filipino professionals and report directly to the Principal or Senior Audit Manager
• Ensure quality control across engagements and support the firm’s commitment to professional standards
