Elevator and Escalator Fitter

We are looking for a skilled Elevator and Escalator Fitter to join our team in Slovenia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevator and escalator systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation in compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational graduate or with technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for elevators and escalators
  • Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience as a fitter for Schindler lifting devices
  • With valid driver’s license (preferably Category B)
  • Good English communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and fit elevator and escalator components
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out corrective actions
  • Ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently
  • Follow technical drawings, manuals, and safety procedures
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of equipment after installation or repair
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
