CLINIC NURSE/OPTHA NURSE

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a clinical or ophthalmology setting.
• Must be a Professional License holder (Passed Board/Professional License Exam).
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and good patient communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in assessing and managing eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, eye trauma, blindness, and refractive errors (near or farsightedness).
• Perform clinical tasks including administering prescribed eye medications and treatments.
• Conduct basic vision tests and assist with ophthalmic diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare patients for eye examinations, minor procedures, and eye surgeries.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye procedures.
• Educate patients on eye care, medication use, and post-treatment instructions.
• Monitor patient condition and report any concerns to the supervising physician or ophthalmologist.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure a clean and safe clinical environment.
