CSSD Technician

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid PRC License
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in CSSD or hospital sterile services
• Professionally competent in hospital protocols and infection control standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Knowledge of patient safety standards and sterilization procedures

Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to hospital protocols
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage before sterilization
• Prepare and pack instruments and surgical sets for procedures
• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and washer-disinfectors
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and hospital policies
• Coordinate with nursing and surgical teams to meet instrument supply needs
