Pediatric Charge Nurse

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid PRC License
• Minimum of 2 years relevant pediatric nursing experience
• Professionally competent in patient care and hospital protocols
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the pediatric nursing team
• Monitor and assess pediatric patients’ conditions and respond to changes in health status
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and pediatric care protocols
• Mentor, train, and support nursing staff to maintain high standards of care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation of pediatric patient care and treatment plans
• Implement and enforce infection control and patient safety standards
