Adecco Czech Republic is seeking an experienced Equipment Support Technician to provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for automated equipment, material handling systems, conveyors, and industrial machinery. The successful candidate will help maintain reliable equipment operation and minimize downtime through preventive maintenance and effective fault diagnosis.

Equipment Support Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in equipment maintenance, automation, or material handling systems.
  • Degree or Diploma in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering, depending on the role.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with automated systems, conveyors, or material handling equipment is an advantage.
  • Experience with SCADA, MFC, WES, or similar control software is an advantage.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and automation-related faults.
  • Inspect equipment and identify potential failures or maintenance requirements.
  • Repair, replace, and adjust defective components when necessary.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of automated systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.
  • Assist with equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and modifications.
  • Monitor equipment performance and respond promptly to breakdowns and technical issues.
  • Use appropriate diagnostic and testing tools to identify equipment faults.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment downtime.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to resolve technical problems.
  • Support continuous improvement activities designed to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and established maintenance standards.
