DIAGNOSTIC MECHANIC (Volvo, Renault & Scania)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as DIAGNOSTIC MECHANIC (Volvo, Renault & Scania).
  • Strong knowledge of petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Experience with brakes, suspensions, clutches, timing belts, and engine rebuilds.
  • Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • At least high school graduate. A driving license.
  • Good ENGLISH communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses and repairs vehicles accurately and within a reasonable time frame and with a quality of work that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Performs diagnostic work accurately according to daily work orders as received including: emission control systems; throttle body injection; electrical problems on computerized vehicles; conditions between computer, ignition, and mechanical problems;
  • Knows, understands, and performs all duties of the Repair Technician and Maintenance Technician jobs.
  • Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment and tools.
  • Perform work of other members of the service department if business necessitates.
  • Perform any other duties either necessary for customer service or perceived by or assigned to the job.
