Golden Era Group / New Era Packaging is seeking a skilled Decorator Operator to ensure high-quality production and smooth operation of our can decorating process. The role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the decorator machine while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Decorator Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate holder in a relevant field.
• Experience or qualification in printing, preferably offset printing.
• Strong technical knowledge of decorator machines and litho operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain machinery efficiently.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Team player with effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under production targets and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all cans from the decorator are free from oil, dirt, contamination, and defects for smooth operation of LSM and Necker.
• Perform litho changes efficiently while maintaining litho standards as per approved specifications.
• Check for any malfunctions in the decorator or pin chain oven at the start of the shift; correct issues and inform the supervisor.
• Meet shift production targets and improve machine output by reducing spoilage, controlling can blow-offs, and preventing infeed jams.
• Plan and coordinate activities during downtime or maintenance periods.
• Review machine manuals, technical notes, and awareness reports to stay informed on procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with Washer, Body Maker, and LSM Necker teams as needed for operational support.
• Conduct preventive checks on the machine daily, maintaining decorator parts and replacing as required to avoid breakdowns.
• Manage smooth and precise size changeovers by following standard procedures and ensuring conversion parts are clean and ready.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following 5S, GMP, BRCGS, WCM, and HACCP standards.
• Ensure all raw materials (lacquer, ink, chemicals, etc.) are prepared and ready at the start of each shift.

• High School Diploma if High School Graduate
• Diploma and TOR if College Graduate
• Employment certificates (previous to present)
• Trainings attended
• Exit visa and Iqama id (Ex Saudi)
• Passport copy (1 year valid)
