QUALITY CONTROLLER

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in plastic manufacturing or a similar industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, Quality Management, or related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of plastic material properties and manufacturing processes, particularly extrusion and injection molding.
• Certifications in quality control systems, such as Six Sigma Green Belt (a plus).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Verification of Incoming raw materials visually and by testing.
• Verification of products supplied from a third party supplier in coordination with Stores Supervisor.
• Inspection of u-PVC pipes, UPVC fittings and blown film etc., Dimensions & Performance Tests according to DIN 8062, DIN 8074, ISO 4427, BS 3505/06, BS 1401, BS 4607 and ASTM 1785 etc. standards.
• Testing and Analysis of Batch release test, Type test in accordance to the standard.
• Responsible for giving startup of a new product to production by verifying process as per setup given by planning department.
• Identifying non-conformed products during the production and making NCR report.
• Coordinating with production team for resolve nonconformance using Root cause analysis.
• Maintaining Quality Records as per ISO 9001 which includes:
  • Online inspection report for finished goods as per Inspection and testing plan
  • Test certificates for the batch release
• Coordinating with Quality Manager for third party certification like Kite mark, FM approval etc. This includes:
  • Preparing samples for testing
  • Maintaining documents
  • Verification of good housekeeping in QC laboratory as per 5S.
• Predictive and Preventive Maintenance of QC equipment’s in coordination with
  Maintenance department.
• Make initial Visit at customer sites in case of nonconformance and report to the QC manager.
• Responsible for sample preparation for Project Tenders, Exhibition, Export etc. for Sales Department.
